Arrow of Light - April 24,
2007
The Arrow of Light is the highest
award that a Cub Scout can earn - and the only Cub Scout
emblem that can be worn on a Boy Scout uniform. The
Arrow of Light shows that the Scout has completed the
necessary tasks to become a Boy Scout.
A group of Boy Scouts known as the "Order of the Arrow"
come to cross the Cub Scouts into Boy Scouting. This

setting up camp, the Webelos played in the Pecos river,
found a garter snake [named "Peco"], went on
a hike, made a fire and cooked dinner, and cleaned up.
After a rousing few hours of Flashlight Tag, there
were Smores and laughing until everyone finally went
to bed. Morning came and we struck camp and let
little Peco loose. This is what Scouting is supposed
to be!
